How to apply nail varnish so it looks perfect

1. Manicure. <o:p></o:p>

Before applying the varnish, a manicure is necessary to have a nice result. <o:p></o:p>

The cuticles should be pushed through with a wood or pusher stick. <o:p></o:p>

(If cuticles are too close to the skin, it is possible to put some emollient water to smoothen them up and then cut them with a cutter)

Then file the nails in order to give them the form and length you want. You can also polish the surface of the nails if you want to give them a smooth and glossy loo (ideal with a transparent varnish). This shouldn't be done more than twice a month and should be done with the help of a polisher.

2. Moisturizing base. <o:p></o:p>

The first coat of varnish should be done with an anti-streaking, anti-aging, anti-yellowing (depending on the nature of your fingernails) varnish.

It also prevents the colored varnish to stain the nail's keratin and inscreases the adhesion of coating. 

  3. The first layer of varnish. <o:p></o:p>

You must put on the varnish in 3 strokes (centre and then on each side) until the edge of the nail.

let dry: 10 to 15 minutes.

To check if varnish is dry, make a slight contact between 2 nails. If it sticks, you must wait. <o:p></o:p>

4. The second layer of varnish. <o:p></o:p>

You can apply the second layer of varnish, then apply the  "Top coat" which strengthens the varnish, faster drying and increases brightness. <o:p></o:p>

  5. For a long held varnish. <o:p></o:p>

Every 2 or 3 days, add a new layer of "Top coat" to revive the colour and brightness, and you can keep a varnish impeccable at least 10 days. <o:p></o:p>
