After having building a, more than respectable career as an actor, Donnie, probably for a lack of adrenaline, decided to be leader in what would quickly turn into the New Kids reunion.

Donnie recently divorced from ex-wife Kim, whom he had 2 kids with.

For the latest news, Donnie would divorce Kim with whom he had 2 children.

But why did Donnie who appeared in movies such as "The 6th Sense", "Dead Silence" or "Saw" suddenly decided to abandonned his acting career to go back on the road with the band ?

I think it depends on the music they offer. If the music is good, more mature, I dont think it will hurt his image. On the contrary, it could easily make critics forget the boyband image they had back in the 80's.

I think people can tell the difference between Donnie Wahlberg the actor and Donnie Wahlberg the singer. Someone can easily love him as an actor and not as a singer and vice versa.
